But some general approaches (ordered by sophistication and power) are: - Calculator application - Spreadsheet application - Program written in Python (+ possibly numpy etc) - Program written in a language that compiles to native code, such as C, C++, Rust (+ possibly appropriate libraries)

Up until AI hit data analyst was some SQL monkey that cleaned datasets and made them presentable with some shit software like PowerBI or Tableau. Right now everything that took some idiot an entire day is like 30 minutes of work with an AI assistant.
