Tell me about some beliefs you had that you later changed your mind about. My biggest change was maybe that I was somewhat idpol-y back in the day. I remember at least being pleased about Obama and that the US finally had a 'black president'. But I guess reading racists vs wokeists for the past decade cured me pretty comprehensively of those ideas.
>being pleased about Obama and that the US finally had a 'black president' I knew he'd be a problem from the start. not because he is black or liberal, but because of his disregard of the balance in politics. I remember the frustration when Democrats completely neglected the ideas of Republicans and passed that Obamacare bill. I'd even say it was the start of the whole populist mess we're at today.
>>28694 What balance was there under Bush?
>>28696 Bush 43 was pretty balanced. Just to remind you Iraq invasion was supported by like 90% of US public and politicum.

I thought spotted hyenas are evil and shit due to this dumbass lion king movie but then I found out they are actually cute and adorable.
>>28698 The entire country wanting to drone brown people doesn't really highlight how his presidency was balanced.
>>28703 well, I mentioned Iraq as it became the most controversial point later but if it wasn't for the 2008 financial crisis, we'd have had McCain as president. and even then Bush managed to place Bernanke - literally the top scholar of financial crises - at the Fed.

I thought that feet aren't all that great, while fostering a temptation for sheer legwear already. Now I have accepted that every part of a leg is great and even better when clad in fine fabrics. >>28691 God, imagine the smell that cat is inhaling and deeply analyzing while sadly unable to comprehend.
>>28710 I know who you are.
I've been on the complete opposite track. 10 year ago I was Krautchan-tier but I've chilled out a lot now, maybe being a middle class liberal is the new edgy when you're surrounded by people hanging flags from lamp posts and attacking Filipina nurses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVfGo-yNZqg >>28694 >I knew he'd be a problem from the start. not because he is black or liberal, but because of his disregard of the balance in politics. Then why didn't you say anything?
>>28710 >inhaling and deeply analyzing while sadly unable to comprehend
>>28722 Yeah, but I'm not into 2D and that kind of stuff anymore.
I used to not believe in the the market but instead thought that a strong centralised state should do everything. There are things that the state should still do though.
>>28772 Interestingly, for me, it was the opposite. I used to think that enough competition would make everything more efficient. But I have seen enough people and businesses that were just trying to maximize profits over a short period of time at a cost of economic sustainability. Technical debt doesn't matter if you're approaching the end of a vc cycle. And yes, that's a very tech-bro perspective, maybe this doesn't hold true for all fields. Maybe, there's no equivalent to technical debt if you're cooking food or something.
>>28781 for-profit companies are dictatorships with central planning, but it doesn't change the fact that free market is the best economic system some regulation is needed ofc
